Introduction to BodyTalk
Body Talk is…
A natural, complementary health care modality that helps your body to restore communication systems within the body/mind, to become a more balanced and better running system, including being able to heal itself.
When you experience pain, bloating, skin issues, overwhelming feelings, and emotions, etc. these are all part of your body “talking”. BodyTalk is a relaxing and calming technique that is focused on self-healing and regular health maintenance. This system allows a certified BodyTalk practitioner, like Jenna, to identify and help balance priority root issues within the body that need healing.
BodyTalk is a stand-alone system, but it is also an excellent complement to already existing health treatment plans. If you are struggling with health issues that have been labeled as chronic or permanent, and have a current treatment that is working, but feel “something is missing”, BodyTalk is an amazing addition that can only enhance your health and wellness plan.
How Can Body Talk Help Me?
A Body Talk practitioner will ask questions yes/no questions using a neuromuscular feedback technique, which will indicate the current priorities your body needs help with balancing. This relaxing balancing technique is then completed, with some deep breathing and light tapping on the head, heart, and navel area; during this time your body will implement the changes it needs. Sessions can be held in person or at a distance energetically via an online platform like Google Meet, phone, or without contact and a recording of the session can be sent to you after the session is complete. In person sessions can be completed on a massage table, or seated, with the client fully clothed.
The Body Talk System can help with diagnosed and undiagnosed illnesses/disease, pain, allergies, breathing, mobility, stress, mental health, addictions, sleep, digestion, and more. BodyTalk practitioners do not diagnose or prescribe any medications.
This is a non-invasive technique and if it were completed incorrectly, no harm would occur. Your body knows what it needs, what it does not, and will not create any changes that are unnecessary or incorrect.
Why doesn’t my body know to do this on its own?
Every day, and throughout our lives, we are faced with many stressors – work, family, friends, finances, health, environment, etc. These stressors change our body’s coping strategies into dealing with all the surface issues and deeper issues are quieted, often not heard. This silence is how imbalances in the body’s system occur, causing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual imbalances or symptoms (pain, brain fog, anxiety, change in energy levels, sleep issues, illness, disease, disorders, etc.)
Body’s Ability to Heal Itself…
The body is actually designed to be able to take care of itself – all by itself – when its systems are in a balanced state. If we have improved internal balance, then our lines of communication are open and flowing between all parts of our body/mind and the need for healing can be acknowledged.
